Bill from Rooster Radio had seen the rooster logo I created for a fictitious radio station and liked it. He left a comment on my blog and I emailed him back and we began working on a very quick revision of the original. I listened to roosterradio.net and got a feel for what the music is all about apart from talking to Bill and reading up articles on the radio stations’ website.
I redid the logo with the rooster using vinyl records for eyes to represent that retro-classic look which suited the play list better. This ended up being a quick, fun, and unexpected weekend project which also bumped up my PayPal balance a bit. Not bad.
I also created the R with the little rooster flap (or whatever that’s called) at the top as a secondary brand that he could use as a favicon or a representation anywhere else, like shirt pockets etc.
